A graduate of George Washington University, she went on to her master's intending to become a Professor of Holocaust studies. When she got married, she realized that things do not always happen as planned. Although she considered being a mom her most important job, she also wanted to do other meaningful things outside the home. She held a few significant roles in her career at synagogues as well as other charitable institutions. But just when she thought her workplace was no longer conducive to her overall growth, Breast Cancer Alliance landed on her lap. And the rest is history.

Apart from being a director of BCA, she was been a decade-long vegan and recently became certified as a a health coach.  Her journey back to health has given birth to Yon Appetit. Through this coaching and cooking company and platform, not only is she able to maintain a healthy work-life balance, she has become a coach for other’s physical health and wellness too.
