Reparations, and I hope that it is more than just money, can be the beginning of healing, becauses it acknowledges a great wrong that has been done. There's never been a resolution to what has happened to black people in America. But I don't think this current administration has to capacity to understand how far-reaching this issue is; but likewise, I don't think the black community is really excited about reparations, either -- and I don't know why."
