Shaun Marzett graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in June 2002.  He also attended the United States Military Academy Preparatory School in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.

Upon graduation from USMA, Shaun was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army.  Shaun deployed to Iraq as a Platoon Leader.  While in combat, Shaun sustained wounds from an improvised explosive device (IED) while conducting a vehicular patrol outside of Baghdad, Iraq.

After serving his country, Shaun founded a government consulting business in the Washington, D.C. area.  He is the proud father of two children and he currently resides in the Northern Virginia area.
