When three siblings paddle their kayak to a small island just beyond the campground, they expect driftwood, tide pools, and maybe an old cave to explore. What they do not expect is the strange feeling that the island is waiting for them. Locals call it Ledger Island, a place where some say the past still keeps its own count.

A discovery on the beach pulls the children deeper into the island, and soon they begin to sense something old moving beneath the surface. A voice that does not belong to the wind. A pattern that feels almost like numbers. And a reminder that some treasures were never meant to be touched at all.

This is a coastal ghost story about curiosity, unfinished business, and the quiet dangers that can follow you home from places you do not fully understand.
