Cellist and educator Wesley Skinner regularly puts together programs like "Bach and baklava" and "Bach and guac." I hope he gets back to me about my "Bach with Glocks" idea to bring classical music to shooting ranges.

We went to Cornish Pasty to discuss the need for a strong repertoire, dealing with the nerves of playing solo, and why he might owe his whole career to Mr. Rogers.

Wesley will be performing three of Bach's cello suites as part of the Tempe Festival for the Arts. Performance will be Saturday, December 3 at 4PM on Mill Ave.

Also on Dec 2, Wesley will be teaching all levels of young Arizona cello students at ASTA-AZ's Cellobration at Tempe High School. More details here
