Episode 36 - Yoga and Intuitive Eating with Tali

Tali is a passionate health coach and yoga teacher in Scotland. She works with women to help them take the power back from dieting, and learn to trust themselves again.  An advocate of intuitive eating for over 8 years, and yogi for almost as long, she has seen the positive impact these practices have had on her mental health, and now empowers others to do the same.  Through an embodied approach to yoga and coaching, Tali teaches that through disconnection from our layers of mental chatter, and the subsequent reconnection to our body, we can rediscover our true selves and live a limitless life
Intuitive eating was a big one that came up for me during this podcast. I have heard the term thrown around a lot at the moment and I honestly didn’t know what it meant! Tali speaks a lot about the the way we communicate and punish our selves and our bodies and how this is where the problem lies, not completely in the food we are or are not eating. Why when we eat a piece of chocolate or hot chips do we associate guilt with this pleasure! Combining Yoga with Intuitive Eating really allows you to gain access to how your body truly feels in the moment and allows you to be more mindful of this in your day to day life.
