Amy was excellent; she was well-made and well-acted. I would have liked it if she had become a dog because I enjoy horror. This was extremely relatable because it resembled our own family's upbringing in many ways. My only gripe is that it keeps up the tired rhetoric about how horrible the mom's life is and shows no empathy for the dad. This is more of a critique of the story than the movie itself.
