Daniela Lopes is 39 years old and was born in Angra do Heroismo, Terceira, Azores. Daniela is self-taught when it comes to fashion design and sewing (she learned some notions from her grandmother and improved with practice, and also with a senhora who worked with her, in her studio), in 2004 she presented her first fashion show and opened her first studio in 2010, in Angra. Daniela has already made clothes for various marchas, danças de Carnaval, parades, as well as, wedding gowns and party dresses. She came to the United States looking for new opportunities, despite having a good acceptance from the public, she felt she needed new challenges. Daniela is the seamstress who made the costumes for the carnaval dance from Hilmar, California, who performed at Carnaval 2020 in Terçeira Azores! Currently, she lives in Tracy, and continues to work in the field of design and clothing, which also includes sewing arrangements.
