You may be uncomfortable with this topic. I was uncomfortable having this conversation. Some topics we take on with the Truth to Power podcast will lose followers. I hope this isn't the case. If I can learn something that I did not know yesterday, I have grown. Are you interested in growth? Sometimes growth is uncomfortable. I don't know if I am particularly qualified to take on the topic of Willie Lynch and the making of a slave, but on this 3-album project that takes a look at modern day social issues through the lens of rap, how do I not address racial issues? Ace and I have difficult conversations. It is our thing. We want to grow and see the world differently than we did yesterday. That takes being vulnerable enough to take chances. I hope we don't lose fans, but honestly, we aren't doing this podcast to make everyone feel good fuzzy feelings. Some topics will make you uncomfortable, are you ready for that? This podcast is about confronting our spirit in a search for Truth in order to connect with the world around us and grow. I hope you find something here that I haven't found in much of the media today. Authentic humans simply being human, which is never perfect. On this episode we took some chances.
