Kasey is a practicing employee assistance program counselor in Reno, NV and has been in the mental health field for 11 years. Kasey has a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She found her way to the field after attempting a pre-med major in college and realizing the “hard sciences” were really just too hard. Kasey employs a systemic, collaborative approach when working with clients and focuses on body-centered, mindfulness-based techniques while incorporating exploration of personal history and interpersonal relationship dynamics. She aims to help her clients identify what is most important to them and begin living fulfilling, values-guided lives.

Kasey is a mom to a beautiful, smart, kind, funny (and every other amazing superlative in the book) 1.5 year old son and two alright dogs. She is also a wife to her loving husband Corey - oh yeah, he happens to be childhood best friends with the host of this podcast!
