Over the last few months, I've been writing fiction. This short story, "Lawrence in Motion," takes place mostly in Lincoln, Nebraska, diners, and on America's highways. I enjoyed the process of getting to know this character over time, as he came to me. He's an amalgam of my past and many people I've known.
