Elizabeth didn't have to respond well to the baby in Mary's belly. She could have condemned her for being pregnant out of wedlock, or too young, or irresponsible... 

We don't see her respond that way, though, we see her response as one that is filled with the Holy Spirit and as one that gives life to Mary.
