Saskia Webber, 99 USWNT World Cup Champion and UCLA Women's Goalkeeper Coach, joins Kohl and Zak to talk about women's soccer and their track to the professional game. The group talks about Saskia's playing career and the path she took to the US Women's National Team. She expresses how much work needs to be put in to be successful at the highest level. Players must make sacrifices in their life to reach the top level of their sport. Saskia talks about what the professional women's soccer landscape was like when she played to what it is now with the NWSL. The conversation continues with what the USWNT was doing to stay in touch with the game when they were not in National Team camp. Kohl and Zak ask Saskia what it was like to play with the 99 group and to play under the late Tony DiCicco. Kohl and Zak discuss with Saskia about how women are able to make it into the coaching ranks of professional men's sports. They talk about how gender should not play a factor when it comes to coaching a sport as long as you have the knowledge to coach at that level. Saskia states that if you want to coach on that side of the game, go after it and don't let someone tell you that you can't make it happen.
