Hey Elevaters! I had an amazing conversation with Nicolle Merrill today – we go into all sort of ideas on Career Change. Y’all know that the first tenant of “Elevate Your 8” is working 8 hours. And I know that many of you struggle with this because you are burned out, working too many hours, and not satisfied with your job. So if you are one of those people, this conversation with Nicolle is exactly for you. We had an amazing time – I’m pretty sure Nicolle and I share the same brain. So cool.
Nicolle Merrill is the founder of Future Skills, a consulting company that examines emerging forms of expertise, skills, and training for the new world of work. Nicolle also freelances as an AI chatbot designer and conversational AI analyst. In her prior work, Nicolle was Associate Director of Career Services at Yale School of Management, where she led career workshops for international MBA students and global executives. Nicolle specializes in teaching people how to reinvent their professional selves and learn new skills at any stage of their career. Nicolle is the author of the upcoming book, Punch Doubt in the Face: How to Upskill, Change Careers, and Beat the Robots, due out in October 2019.
