Matthew 19:4-6

We are reminded today of the first romantic love, that of Adam and Eve. Before Eve was created Adam was unfulfilled and slumbered. God recognized Adam's need for connection so provided the gift of Eve. This gift of God reminds us the human need for affection and connection and that the appreciation and celebration is glorification of His love.
