In this episode I take a look at the small wild in my weekly diary from the 25th of April to the 1st of May, 2022

This week the weather turns dull and grey but with a more regular appearance from the red kite. As the first spring flowers begin fade, the next in line unfurl and take up the mantle of colour. Lilac blooms, apple blossom is at its peak and at the end of the week, we celebrate Beltane, May day.
