Deconstruction of our false ego is a humbling process, sometimes even embarrassing. Living for so long with an inflated sense of superiority over or competition with others is a big bubble that needs to burst at some point if I want to experience my true eternal identity. By understanding that my true nature as an eternal spirit soul is to love and serve God and all living beings, I can become free of envy and find happiness in fulfillment by lifting others up.
