I am not particularly a Roy Ayers expert.  However, I noticed that he was recently 82years of age so I thought I would do a podcast in favour of this icon of Soul and Jazz music.I simply used some of the tracks that were readily available on my music hard drive and took it from there. I still ended up being in excess of 2 hours.  I did not look to fill any gaps either in his catalogue or my knowledge.  There were other tracks that I could have included from here or my vinyl and cd collection,  This is just a snapshot.I admire greatly Roy Ayers for the way that he is always progressive and helps, nurtures, and uses new and emerging artists and works cross genres.  A great man no doubt.Hey Lover (feat.
