In Episode 39, Melissa talks with Jacinda Abdul-Mutakabbir, an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Loma Linda University, School of Pharmacy and a Critical Care Infectious Disease pharmacist. They discuss her work magnifying and rectifying health inequities in minoritized communities and recent publication in The Lancet Global Health sharing a successful multi-disciplinary and community engagement initiative.  Jacinda, known as “JAM,” also reflects on taking care of yourself and prioritizing mental health.  Finally, she shares her passion for romance novels and giving back supporting the Pharmacy Grad Wish List movement.
