Today we ventured off the porch and made a quick trip to Thomasville, Georgia to sit down with the owner and master distiller for the 1861 Distillery, Brian Higgins. Brian tells us all about how the distillery started, its various accolades, and he was kind enough to share some of their whiskey and their more unique products, including Quinoa whiskey, Sorghum whiskey, and Amaretto.
