Episode 4: Ariana Grande - We Can't Be Friends (Argonaut x Avicii Remix Mash Up)

Melbourne based ARIA Club Chart DJ, Argonaut has spent the last seventeen years spinning across the city's clubs lifting roofs and turning up dance events with his brand of high-energy vocal commercial dance and house music. Currently holding residencies at iconic queer venues POOF DOOF and Sircuit, Argonaut has played sets for countless Australian LGBTQI+ events across the country and toured Asia in 2023. Within the festival scene, Argonaut has played epic shows at queer stages at Splendour In The Grass, Pitch Music &amp; Arts, Beyond The Valley, Festival X, Wine Machine, Dream Machine and Chill Out festivals. His most recent career highlight headlining the forecourt stage at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party playing to over 5000 party goers in February 2023. Over the last ten years he has been the musical face as well as co-producer of the “Bar Kylie” dance party which has evolved from a small scale pop-up dance party to a nationally touring event, and a premiere event at each Mardi Gras. This side project lead to residencies at Arts Centre Melbourne and Geelong Arts Centre during their Kylie Minogue fashion exhibits. As a producer, Argonaut has built a career on reworking pop hits into club-ready cuts for his dance floors, providing unique and signature Argonaut moments that have set his sound apart. His unofficial bootlegs for artists like Dua Lipa, Scissor Sisters, Kim Petras - and of course Kylie - have been streamed over 500,000 times and played far and wide by queer DJ peers locally and across the pond. His debut release “Fame” was released in June 2022 on Extrovert Records, under the iconic Australian dance label Vicious Recordings. Faced with the COVID lockdowns in 2020 Argonaut quickly took his live shows and that of Bar Kylie to an online arena. These weekly live streams have reached audiences across the globe, clocking in over 500,000 views on Facebook and Twitch since March 2020. A true dance floor chameleon, Argonaut's deep knowledge of music spans disco and house and tech to electro clash, pop and Hi-NRG; this keeps audiences energetic as he curates the greatest night on the dance floor you've ever had!
