Episode 4: Best of Central Florida - January 2024
Welcome back to another episode of my podcast, Plan, Pack and Recap! Today I will be highlighting what you can look forward to here in Central Florida for mid January 2024 as well as what you can expect for the weather, notable events and some kid specific events within SeaWorld Orlando and Legoland Florida. Typically, this point of January is my favorite as the highs are mostly in the 70’s with chances to enjoy COLD weather and wear all the sweaters!
Each month, I will be sharing a snapshot of notable events or festivals in a ‘Best of Central Florida’ for a particular month, and this month I will be highlighting what’s going on mid January 2024, the big events this weekend in particular: Central Florida Scottish Highland Games in Winter Springs the 12th and 13th (as well as local perspective from a friend whose attended for years), the Festival of the Arts at Epcot/Walt Disney World, and additional events and festivals that are going on this month. Part of the magic of the cooler weather in Central Florida means there are some outdoor alternatives such as the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours or seeing the historic city, St. Augustine which is an hour north of Orlando with something for everyone. In particular, their annual event, the Night of Lights wraps up on January 28th.
