Its normal to be frustrated and disappointed after your race gets canceled. It doesn't have to derail you and your training. Plan your own race and finish out your training cycle. Adjust your expectations. Maybe even throw out any expectations and just run hard. Allow yourself some recovery time of 1-2 weeks of no running. Then find ways to stay connected with your community. We are offering 4 weekly Zoom video calls within our Austin running club, and would recommend you doing the same with your friends, family, coach, or running community.
