Seller: Ẹ káàsán.

Buyer: ̣E jọ̀ọ́, èló ni bàtà yí?

Seller: ̣Egbẹ̀rún mẹ́wàá ni.

Buyer: Áà! Ó wọ́n o. Sé kò gba ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́jọ?

Seller: Rárá, iye ẹ̀ nìyẹn. Ǹkán ti wọ́n.

Buyer: Mo mọ̀ bẹ́ẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n mi ò ní ju ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́jọ lọ ò.

Seller: Ó dáa. Sanwó.

Buyer: ̣E ṣé, mo dúpẹ́.

Seller: Ko ̀tọ́pẹ́.

Buyer: Good afternoon.

Seller: Good afternoon.

Buyer: Please how much is this pair of shoes?

Seller: It is ten thousand.

Buyer: Ah! It is expensive. Can it go for eight thousand?

Seller: No, that’s the price. Things have become expensive.

Buyer: I know that, but I don’t have more than eight thousand.

Seller: Okay, pay.

Buyer: Thank you. I am grateful.

Seller: Don’t mention.
