On today’s Episode, Paula Sammarone Turocy, EdD, LAT, ATC, Director of the Pre-Medical and Health Professions Programs at @Duquesne University, joins us to discuss her career that has earned her numerous awards not to mention being in the @NATA Hall of Fame. Dr. Turocy talks to us about the early struggles of the female athletic trainer trying to earn her spot at the table in a predominantly male dominated field as well as the important role she played in helping push the profession forward by helping promote important legislation in the state as the President of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society.
