For this episode, FOTH becomes Front Of The Hull as Michael (Coach) Conner is interviewed while sitting on his boat (which is obvious by the wind and water sounds in the background). Michael is a live mix engineer who specializes in FOH mixing and large format live sound systems. He has toured with Paul Simon, Steely Dan, Sam Smith, Ray Price and others. His career spans thirty plus years including both theater and live music. 

Michael is currently the FOH engineer for Steely Dan and Paul Simon. He lives in Beach Haven New Jersey and can often be found on his sailboat looking for that socket he dropped into the bilge.
