The wrestling promotion “Incredibly Strange Wrestling”  was a San Francisco-based professional wrestling promotion, that combined elements of Lucha Libre, over the top sometimes hilarious and morally broken gimmicks with performances by punk, rockabilly, garage, psychobilly, and thrash metal bands. So much so they even toured with Lalapalooza!

What began as a loveable satire of Lucha Libre turned into a successful wrestling promotion that sold out the Fillmore in San Francisco various times over.
