Defined as the relationship among the world’s state governments and of those relationships with other actors, the field international relations has a lot to offer. It requires extensive knowledge about this subject matter and it could be acquired through reading considerable amounts of academic texts about the interconnectedness of different states. Working in the field of international relations does not only revolve around being diplomats, but also caters to different areas such as security, political economy, international institutions, and the like.
