Sebastian and Panos watched (separately sadly) the movie Interstellar and both thought, “What… happened… there?” So they did what the podcast was intended to do, satisfy their curiosity. They called upon Physics teacher extraordinaire Francis Achilles Torres to help us explain the ground work required to understand black holes and finally answer the question, “What the hell happened at the end of that movie?” This is part one laying the ground work and stay tuned for part 2 where we talk about the explanations of the movie.
