Episode 4 with Bill Finn from Angaza, a pay as you go financing company that helps people in Kenya and 29 other countries around the world to pay for solar lighting and other equipment that would otherwise be unaffordable. The company started with the mission of displacing kerosene lamps which are expensive and dangerous (burns, toxic fumes). Now more than 2 million people have benefited from solar equipment financed through Angaza and the company is planning to grow much bigger. Bill discusses his journey from working at hedge funds to moving to Nairobi, Kenya to help build out Angaza's tech stack.
