John Moist is a doctoral student studying communication at University of Illinois, and his studies focus on rhetoric, technology and economic topics. Annette and John were both born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania and are both former homeschoolers. John Moist has joined Annette on the podcast to talk about being raised as homeschoolers, how they feel it impacted their personal "success," common stereotypes they often dealt with due to their education, and pragmatic perspectives for parents now homeschooling their parents due to the pandemic.
