In this week's podcast episode, I had the honor of interviewing my good friend and network connection, Ginger. Ginger and I met this year at a networking event in our central city. I quickly became intrigued with Ginger after hearing she recently graduated with her master's in marketing! Ginger and I have quickly become close friends outside of work, and she has such a beautiful soul and spirit.
After her family discouraged her from getting a traditional college education, Ginger gave up her thriving business as a lash artist to pursue higher education. Ginger shares her journey to becoming a first-generation college student and why she chose a non-victim mentality. She does allow her previous experiences to hold her back from what feels authentic to her life now. Ginger also talks about adopting self-compassion with health and wellness as circumstances change. She's all for personal development, but not to the detriment of her mental health.
I hope you enjoy this conversation with Ginger as much as I did! Feel free to connect with her on LinkedIn; she would love to chat more with you.
