Welcome to Episode 4! We are so glad you are still along for the ride, and we hope you are enjoying what you are hearing/watching.
We kick this episode off by sharing our plans to attend the William Chris Valentine's Dinner in February. As members, we get access to this thoughtful experiences, and this is our favorite event of the year. We not only get to taste great wine, we get to hear about it from the wine makers and winery owners. Not to mention, we also get to enjoy great food pairings. It is just fabulous! We plan to spend the whole weekend in the Hill Country as we enjoy the moment together as sisters.
What is today's episode about? Well, we talk about how we grew up on a farm. The smell of hay bring back the memories of life on the farm -- simple, rugged, and unforgettable.
Our key takeaway and how it developed us into who we are is how the farm taught us responsibility. And it taught us this long before most kids even had chores at all.
We both share how rewarding it was growing up the way we did. We felt a connection to the land, to animals, and to our family that we would never take back. We loved working side-by-side our parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It didn't get better than that.
We close out and reflect on how our childhood made us who we are today -- stronger, wiser, and more adaptable.
