If someone told you that a third-world, poverty-stricken country had the same problems as your town in regional Australia, you'd probably laugh, thinking that was a bit of a stretch of the imagination. 

Well, the latest guest on "Thinking Around the Box" doesn't seem to think so. Malaika Mfula travelled to Africa helping regional and remote communities, and then she moved to regional Australia - where the seemingly simple task of finding a GP became near impossible. Turns out, gaining access to basic health care isn't just a third world problem. So Malaika has decided to do something about it - and her idea, which she started in her own regional town has now caught the attention of the leaders of our country in Canberra.
