In this week's episode, we caught up with one of our favourite Reginans; Mark Heise. Mark is best know these days as the President and co-founder of Rebellion Brewing Co; one of Canada's best craft breweries. Mark is also a huge music fan, with varied eclectic tastes. We talked about The Kinks, Steve Earle, Waylon Jennings, and scores of other bands. We also discovered that the Heise household wasn't particularly musical in a playing sense and that Mark generally doesn't overly worry about what guitar he's playing. If it has six strings, he'll pick it up, bash out a tune, and bring his raw energy and personality to the performance. We also talked a little bit about the important impact Mark has had in recent years in the Regina business community, particularly the Warehouse District. This episode was recorded in April, when we were still deep in the depths of the pandemic and the response to it. Mark gave us a couple of hours of his time on a Sunday evening after a long work week and we're massively grateful to him for that!
