In this episode of Inter Vitam et Mortem, in celebration of the 7th day in the Octave of Christmas, the last day of 2018, and the eve of the Vigil of the Solemnity of Mary the Mother God, Mary Anne Urlakis shares with you a selection of sacred hymns and carols sung by the trio of Urlakis Sisters. These ladies frequently provide music for daily Mass at the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill. Grace Marie and Eve Anna are current Holy Apostles students – representing the Departments of Theology, Sacred art, and English and the Humanities; and Gemma Claire hopes to begin her studies at Holy Apostles later this year.

The arrangement of the songs is as follows: Silent Night, Ave Maria, Creator of the Stars of Night, O Cor Jesu, Away In A Manger, Salve Regina, Angels We Have Heard on High, Anima Christi, Of The Father's Love Begotten, Puer Natus In Bethlehem, & What Child Is This.` We would like to acknowledge the following arrangements: Firstly: Silent Night/ Peace, Peace - arranged by Fred Bock with words and music by Rick and Sylvia Powell, published by the Fred Bock Music Company. Secondly: O Cor Jesu - by C. Rossini. Finally: Anima Christi - by Marco Frisina, published by Editoriale Audiovisivi. All other songs are traditional hymns with harmonies arranged by the Urlakis sisters. (December 31, 2018)
