In 2015 a couple of Mima's young grandchildren moved far away. Wanting to nurture their love of reading and learning, Mima started a YouTube channel to house videos where she reads stories to them. It has been successful in her original goal because those grandchildren now love reading!

Mima opened up her Mima's Zone TV YouTube to the public and has received notes from people all over the world.
