There is a far better explanation for the period prior to recombination than a hot dense fluctuating inflating pea of cold dark matter. A theory that follows perfectly from observations.  One that not only offers up a realistic starting size and temperature but one that can explain current questions like the horizon problem, harmonic quasar inclinations, harmonic galactic inclinations, harmonic galactic periods, super filaments, supervoids, red transients, blue transients, and missing black holes.
