Welcome to the Things That Shape Us podcast. My name is Jonathan Wymer and I'm joined by James Gary to discuss a various range of subjects that are all related to one idea: How those things shape our lives.

In this episode, James and I discuss two things that shaped our lives. First, James shares a story of how Christian Rock (Specifically DC Talk and Newsboys) shaped his perspective on the inspiration of music and how it helped create segues into other genres. Second, I share my opinion on how most of the world's individuals could not cope with physically being alone in the quiet and absence of other people, especially during this day and age of technology. I also explain the importance of learning to be alone and try my best to define the distinction between "being alone" and "loneliness".
