Have you ever found yourself feeling like you are being asked to step out of your comfortable space, and to learn to wait in stillness?
When we are asked to stretch beyond our comfort zone, not immediately being rescued from painful situations, it can make us start to question “why?”!
Being put in an unfamiliar position of having to rely on God, instead of one’s self can feel overwhelming. Learning how to sit still and listen, rather than running around in a state of panic can feel like one is being stretched being their capacity!

After feeling “self-reliant” since my first job babysitting at 11 years old, I have found myself in a space of needing to learn that I actually need to rely on God to supply my needs.
I have found myself on a journey learning to not follow my normal inclination of just diving in head first, but waiting, listening, and learning to follow God’s lead. While it has not been easy, I hope that sharing this with you, will encourage you in whatever space you find yourself.
