Similarly to our host @samynemir, they didn’t win but left an impressionable mark in #NYC politics and today leads a STATEWIDE #LGBTQ advocacy nonprofit focused on advancing living conditions for #TGNCNB and low-income, BIPOC and sex workers. 

If we have more #political power, we can have people like Elisa leading communities in #NYC!
