In Week 4 the League must create a Surf playlist. A fairly straightforward task but at the 11th hour a fear of 22 instrumentals blurring into an hour of indistinguishable drippy reverb prompts a new request: submit one instrumental surf & one vocal surf.

But is there such a thing as a true Surf song with a vocal, or are the purists correct? It’s a perfect topic for Mike & Rich to get worked up about, while Duncan just wants to know which songs “float.” Fortunately the 22 song playlist kicks ass, pure Surf or not.
