On the afternoon of 25 April 1998, 16-year-old Rachel Antonio was dropped off at the Summer Garden Cinema in Bowen, North Queensland by her mother. She has never been seen or heard from since. There has only ever been one suspect in her disappearance and suspected murder; however, the possible involvement of another person of interest has lead to many theories of what happened to Rachel, a mystery that has haunted the small town for more than two decades.
