Presenting episode 4 of Diverse Conversations where we will discussing the Future of Pharmacy with Tim Smith (BSc. Pharm., CDE, CTE), co-founder of Simplicity Wellness.
Tim Smith is the Co-Founder of Simplicity Wellness, a health coaching and chronic disease management practice based in Winnipeg. After more than a decade in community practice, professional services, and pharmacy operations, he believes that managing health should be simple, if not always easy. Tim is a certified diabetes educator and tobacco educator and holds additional certifications or training in Opioid Dependence Treatment and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. Licensed to practice in four provinces and territories, Tim has spent much of his career working in, with, and for Indigenous and other remote communities across Canada. Tim is a passionate advocate for the increased role pharmacists must play if we are to improve patient outcomes and the fiscal sustainability of our healthcare system. Since 2019, Tim has been a board member of Pharmacists Manitoba and serves as Vice-President.
