In this episode, the two Matts celebrate the new year, potentially offend multiple demographics of the show, try and one-up each other in a singing contest (spoiler alert: Matt David wins), and host the annual award show "The Witties," celebrating all the great and not-so-great works of the previous year with an odd amount of overlap. What works are we gonna rip off-uh, I mean...did we ENJOY the most last year? What was we gonna try and read/watch/play more of? Whose butt is the best out of Deadpool, Scarlett Johansson (either as a snake or a movie that came out five years ago), or Chris Evans's bulging biceps that aren't butts but are legendary anyways? We discuss it all, with true awards-level reverence, and talk about Percy Jackson, Overwatch, Warcraft, and Hidden Figures for some reason (it's a great movie, but we can't write anything like that, so it's in "Works we won't rip-off," obviously)
