I Fell in Love with a Video Nasty

Episode 4 - This Was Like, Barely About a House

Listen Later

This week, DAGL and Xandra powered through The Last House on the Left (1972). They went in chipper and excited to watch a Wes Craven classic about some buddies in a house and this movie was... well... not that. Not exactly. Complete with a banjo-infused soundtrack, Home-Alone-esqe traps, and scenes that will make you scream "WHY?!" to the heavens, come along with us on this journey.

“Two teenage girls heading to a rock concert for one's birthday try to score marijuana in the city, where they are kidnapped and brutalized by a gang of psychopathic convicts.”

The Last House on the Left (1972) is streamable on fubo and Amazon Prime and available to rent or buy on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.

Thanks to The Damned for "Nasty", that tasty tune at the beginning and end of the episode.
