Within the field of mathematics, there is a broad under-representation of many groups of people, especially LGBT+, people of color, undocumented people, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups. Listen in as Sac State mathematics alumna Brianna Davis leads a group of math undergraduates through a discussion of how current students perceive this issue. The episode highlights some of the work already done at Sac State and what changes would make mathematics accessible and inclusive to all groups.
