Choose what you want most instead of what you want now.
That was a quote from this past Sunday Morning’s sermon at Trinity Harlem by Pastor Taylor Wilkerson. I thought it was so profound when I heard it but never realized how timely it would be at this very moment at 1:54 am when what I want right now is sleep but being consistent with this podcast is what I want most.
Last week we ended with writing down our 3 goals for the month. Some of you shared with me what they were on Instagram and I loved how each of you chose attainable goals that even tho they may seem like nothing such as putting away the laundry as soon as it’s done, they are really tasks that will help make you more productive in the long run. Now that you have formed a habit of putting the laundry away, you won’t spend as much time digging through a bag of clean clothes, Giving you more time to do something else that you can check off your list.
