As 2022 came to a close, I reflected back on all my dear Sisters who lost loved ones. Suffering is all around us, no one is immune. God’s Word is where we find hope. Our ONLY hope is in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. When suffering is a blanket that’s heavy on our shoulders, God’s Word says that we are “blessed. Instead of repaying evil for evil, we are to “bless” those who persecute us. Words that do not ring well in the American Culture around us, but yet as Christ Followers these words should move us to rejoice! It was the suffering of Christ that brought us forgiveness and the hope that we now have to stand before our Creator. Follow along with me as I quickly go through the text on today’s podcast.
