ISOBP is a stat we created for the podcast. It measures the things baseball card collectors tend to care about. It is forward looking, and so far has an excellent track record for spotting young talent in the minors, and significant changes in the majors.

The formula is:

(OBP+ISO)-(BB%-K%)+(SB/500)

In the Minors:
.450 = average, .500 = above average,  .600 = elite,  .700 = generational

In the Majors:
.400 = average, .500 = above average,  .550 = elite,  .600 = generational
